PSHE is Personal, Social, Health and Economic education. Bowbrook School provides a caring, positive, safe, and stimulating environment which promotes all pupils’ social, physical, emotional and moral development. Our PSHE curriculum contributes to developing the whole-person so all pupils are fully equipped for life. PSHE sets learning within real-life contexts that affect our children, their parents and teachers, this is reflected in all areas of the curriculum.
Through PSHE, our children will be:
- safe,
- healthy,
- independent,
- responsible.
We want our pupils to live happy, healthy and fulfilled lives, and develop a strong sense of community both now and in the future so they are good people who contribute positively to society.
We teach the children to care about their environment and their community both locally and nationally and we support charitable and social causes.
We take great effort to educate our children on health and safety matters by providing practical and memorable experiences and inviting in visitors and professionals to speak with the children.
