School Uniform
Aims
Bowbrook Primary School has the following aims in relation to school uniform:
- it is inclusive to all pupils and religions;
- it is comfortable and practical for school activities;
- it is affordable keeping branded items to a minimum, easily available and there is a recycling scheme in place to re-love and re-home uniform
Bowbrook School Uniform Required for School & Nursery Children
- Plain white polo shirt
- Grey trousers, shorts, skirt or pinafore dress
- Red checked dress/playsuit in summer weather (optional)
- Bowbrook School Burgundy sweater or cardigan with school emblem
- Plain black footwear
- Plain socks or tights (Black, Navy, Grey or White)
Parents should purchase school jumpers and cardigans from the School Shop. Book Bags are also available. These items can be purchased online by visiting www.schoolshopdirect.co.uk or direct from their Shrewsbury store. Outdoor Kit (For PE & Forest School)
- Plain grey or black zipped jacket/hooded jacket
- Plain white T-shirt
- Plain Navy blue or black shorts or jogging bottoms
- Trainers
Children should come into school wearing their outdoor kit on their PE/FOREST SCHOOL DAYS.
ALL CLOTHING SHOULD BE CLEARLY LABELLED WITH YOUR CHILD’S NAME. Please encourage your child to take responsibility for looking after and be independent in looking after their belongings. The nature of ‘Lost Property’ in a school of this size is difficult.
