We want to inspire pupil’s curiosity and fascination about the concept of religion and the world’s religious and non-religious traditions.
Religious Education develops pupils’ knowledge and understanding about Christianity and some of the different religions in the world and allows children to embrace the diversity of our global community. Children will be encouraged to explore questions within their own beliefs and develop a sensitivity to the beliefs and cultures of others, and respect the right to not believe. Together we will reflect, discuss, share ideas and explore questions so children develop a deeper appreciation of the spiritual, moral and natural world around them.
Children can enjoy exploring other faiths and cultures through workshops and festivals, stories, art, music, drama and dance.
