Children only get one ‘go’ at primary school and we want it to be magical! We want our children waiting at the gate and running into school.
We are the School of Opportunity. We want our children to have a wide variety of opportunities and experiences that prepares our students for the future whilst fostering a love for learning and personal growth.
I am so proud to be the first Headteacher at the beginning of the school’s exciting journey. We are at the heart of a thriving community and our staff are driven by a desire to enable our children to take their first steps in building a successful future in the modern world.
We want our children to be ambitious, to embrace opportunities and push themselves out of their comfort zone. We want our children to ‘feel the fear and do it anyway’ – this is something you will hear regularly from our children.
Amongst the rich, exciting experiences they will experience, the children will find their particular interests and potentially their ‘super strengths’. We will look to harness these and ensure the children are well on their way to reaching their potential as they progress into Secondary school and beyond.
To achieve our vision, we need teamwork. We need all stakeholders – children, staff, parents, governors and the whole of the community. We hope you support us in this partnership to ensure that we provide the best education and opportunities we can for every child.
