I love these last weeks before Christmas. The children are so excited and it makes being in school magical.
We have had an action packed week as you will see from the newsletter. We have also been showing around more parents wanting to send their children to us when they begin Reception in September. We are growing the school steadily and will never compromise on quality. We are looking to expand our staff and still have a lunchtime supervisor vacancy and will be releasing a vacancy for a Teaching Assistant this week.
A quick note on the Nativity: we had our nursery children involved and we were thrilled that our 3 year olds took part. As a school, we are inclusive and we want everyone to take part whatever their ability or age. I know our families appreciate this and that is why as a staff, parent group, governing body, 3-18 Trust we are proving such an effective team.
Pantomime next week as well as Christmas parties – it is going to be a wild one!
Thankyou to everyone who came along to support our Nativity performances this week. The children loved having you there and it was magical to share this as a community. We are so proud of our children for ‘feeling the fear and doing it anyway’.
At Bowbrook we are determined to be the focus of our wonderful community and want to share the incredible resources that we have. It was a pleasure to host the Brain tumour support group’s Christmas party in our hall.
We have had a delivery of i-pads and have a range of apps to support the children’s learning. We love technology at Bowbrook!
After experiencing this equipment for the first time at Shrewsbury Museum we purchased this for our children. It is great for their physical development but also to enable them to become critical thinkers and designers and solve problems. We all love it too!
We constantly talk to the children about the importance of working as part of a team and ensuring we all help one another.
