Headteacher update
Where do I start this week?
Thank you so much for all the people who turned up last Saturday for our Opening. The weather was not great but so many people braved it to ensure it was a great success.
Following this, we had our Community Show around on Tuesday and we had many members of the community have a tour of the school and pose some questions for myself and some of the members of the Bowmer and Kirkland team. We are really keen to establish strong links with the people in the surrounding area.
We also had our first Open Morning for potential Reception children this week. Applications open at the start of November and we are hoping that many children want to come and join us.
The children have had another adventurous week and are rounding it off with a trip to the Safari park! I am sure there will be some tired children.
Thank you for your support. Please get in touch if you have any ideas regarding opportunities you want for your children. We are determined to make their experiences amazing!

Our Grand Opening
What a day! Thank you to so many of you who came to support us and watch Georgia and Finley cut the ribbon and officially open Bowbrook Primary School. Such an historic moment! Thank you to Shropshire Council, the 3-18 Education Trust, the DFE and our friends at Keystone Academy for joining us. The rain didn’t dampen our spirits and we were so proud to spend time with our families and our new school community. We all had a great time! Here’s to the first of many community events!
Safari Park
Today we have visited the Safari Park. It was our first ‘big’ school trip and we loved it! The children were so excited and had great fun. This trip will form the basis of some of next week’s writing.
Our children represented the school brilliantly!
Crossbar Visit!
Our friends from Crossbar came across with their inflatables this week to give our children a bit of fun and exercise!
Certificates this week!
Every week some of our children get a certificate for either following our 3 school rules: Be kind, Be Ready, Be safe or for ‘feeling the fear and doing it anyway’.
Well done to these three superstars this week!

Arbour update
Firstly I would like to thank you for your patience whilst I have been resolving issues with Arbor access. You should now be able to log in to Arbor, to pay for all future clubs and trips.
From Monday the 9th of October please use Arbor to book before and after school club sessions for your child. You will receive an invoice for all sessions attended before this date.
For parents with children in nursery, you will continue to receive a monthly invoice for Lunch time care and meals, these sessions do not need to be pre-booked through Arbor.
If you have any questions or need any further information, don’t hesitate to get in touch.
Kind regards,
Sarah Woosnam

The children love Breakfast Club!
Our children love Breakfast Club. We look to provide a bit of exercise, a range of activities and promote independence skills in the preparation of the food!
