Message from the Headteacher

Welcome to our FIRST School Newsletter.  I have officially started as Headteacher and I am incredibly proud and excited to be Headteacher of Bowbrook Primary School.  Being the Head of a brand new school really is the dream job!  Bowbrook primary will be a flagship school for Shrewsbury with incredible facilities and brilliant staff.  Our vision is to be a School of opportunity-building successful futures for our children so they can work anywhere in the world.  We want our children to be ambitious and fearless, to be risk takers and embrace new opportunities.

We will be working hard to build a community around the school and can’t wait to meet our new families, residents and neighbours and welcoming you into school.

Project Information

Works on site have progressed well. The Primary School shell is now complete with the roof nearing completion. The external facades and internal works have now started.

We have had some suggestion regarding ways in which we can support the community. We have had some ideas from the local councillors re dog bins or benches for people to sit and take in the beautiful surroundings. We will consider all these and will update you in future newsletter.

Thank you for your patience and understanding during the construction process. We aim to keep all disruption to a minimum and will keep you updated on forthcoming works with regular newsletters.

Please see Bowmer and Kirkland’s newsletter for further information:
