Headteacher’s update

Hope everyone has had a great week despite the awful weather. It has not stopped us getting out and about in the community and we have had Forest school, swimming and walks in the community to support our learning in the classroom.

I can’t believe that we have nearly finished our first half term. It has been action packed and makes myself and all the staff excited for next half term and the future of our school.

We had our second Showaround for parents who are thinking about where to send their little ones in September. It is always great to meet and chat with families. I understand that it is a huge decision and I remember my wife and I have all the same questions and concerns when our eldest child was starting school. I think that any child in this area is incredibly lucky as it seems all the schools in our area are lovely places to be educated.

It was great to have Reverend Charlotte come into school this week for an assembly. This will be a regular occurrence and we hope to visit the church next half term.

Next week is the last week before half term. The children are going pumpkin picking and we have a Halloween themed disco after school on Wednesday which should be a lot of fun!

Have a lovely weekend.
